Frinton's attractions:

A long clean greensward,
Shopping in Connaught Avenue (in the past dubbed the "Bond Street" of East Anglia.),
Immaculately clean sandy beaches, historic tree lined avenues,
Coastal walks and the Frinton summer theatre.
Often known for its numerous Churches and lack of pubs (there is only 1, which was given the go ahead in 2000) this is a quiet seaside town.
Also famous for "The Frinton Gates", with a current battle to keep the landmark at Frinton's entrance.
The railway gates have often been referred to as a status divide, living "inside the gates" supposedly having more status than living "outside the gates".
The sea front is still lined by many Victorian style beach huts,
reminiscent of the days when the town was a favourite retreat for the aristocracy and even royalty.
Frinton Golf Club is one of the oldest in Essex having been founded way back in 1892,
and was originally laid out as a nine-hole course before being extended by Willie Park Junior almost a decade later in 1904.
Frinton Lawn Tennis and Squash Club is one of the country's most prestigious tennis clubs.
Founded in 1899, the club initially catered for tennis, croquet and bowls.
Three of the biggest events at the club are the ITF Futures, ITF Veterans and LTA Junior Open tournaments.
The ITF Veteran's and Junior Open Tournaments are grade 3 events, which is the same level as Wimbledon's equivalent.

Guide dogs are exempt.
On all other beaches dog owners are requested to follow the 'good dog owners code' and clean up after the dog. Please see signs along the seafront for full details.
